1. China's manufacturing PMI in February was 35.7%
On February 29, the National Bureau of Statistics Service Industry Survey Center and China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing released data. In February, affected by the epidemic, China's manufacturing purchasing manager index (PMI) was 35.7%, down by 14.3 percent compared with the previous month. At the same time, the survey results show that with the Central Committee of CPC and the State Council coordinating the prevention and control of the epidemic and economic and social development, the current resumption rate of business recovery is fast, and production and operation activities are orderly resumed, which will promote the purchasing manager index in March.
2. Machine tool industry work resumption rate reached 70%
Since February 14th, China Machine Tool Industry Association has conducted statistics on the 26 subsidiary companies about production resumption in the form of daily report. On February 14, 1,205 companies participated in the statistics, and the rate of company resumption was 27% (the rate of employee resumption was 57%). As of March 1st, 1,357 companies participated in the statistics, and the rate of company resumption was 69% (the rate of employees resumption was 66%).
